Use the official IB candidate website with the personal code and PIN supplied by your DP coordinator. For the May 2026 session, candidates receive results on 6 July 2026. IBretake.com cannot see your results, reset your PIN, submit remarks or send transcripts.
Get your current-session personal code or candidate code and PIN from your school. The IB does not hand those details directly to candidates, so the coordinator is the person to contact if access fails.
For May 2026, the IB announced candidate results access for 6 July 2026. Have your university offer condition, admissions contact and previous candidate details ready. If a retake might be needed, the first days after results matter because school internal registration deadlines can close earlier than the final IB deadline.
Go to candidates.ibo.org, enter the code and PIN exactly as provided, accept the terms if prompted, then open the results view. If you copy credentials, remove extra spaces before trying again.
After three failed login attempts, wait before trying again. If the result shown is from the wrong session or credentials still fail, contact your coordinator rather than guessing new codes.
Read the result in layers: total points, subject grades, TOK/EE core points, diploma award status and any boundary detail your school gives you. One low subject is different from a failed diploma condition.
For the full Diploma, check the broad conditions: total points, no E in TOK or EE, HL/SL point thresholds, low-grade limits and subject minimums. If the Diploma was not awarded, identify the exact condition before planning a retake.
Students usually have four next actions: wait for the school to explain component detail, ask about an Enquiry Upon Results, send official transcripts, or plan a retake. The right option depends on boundary distance and deadline pressure.
A remark can be useful when you are close to the next grade, especially in essay-heavy subjects. A retake is more realistic when the gap is large, the subject is objective, or the university condition needs a stronger new performance.
Universities usually need official evidence, not a screenshot. Before results are released, students often request transcript destinations through their school; after release, graduates use the IB transcript route and may pay processing fees.
If a conditional offer is at risk, contact admissions with precise information: achieved total, subject grades, planned review or retake, expected result date and how official evidence will arrive. Do not say a host school is confirmed until it has accepted and registered you.
